Table of the 54 UK Prime Ministers to date

(April 2011)

Note: The table is sortable by clicking the icon at the head of each column.

Quintessential British Establishment

Oxford and Cambridge Universities (OxBridge) are the very epitome of the higher-education 'British Establishment', with Oxford alone having provided all but four of fourteen Prime Ministers since 1935. The exceptions to this ridiculous dominance being Winston Churchill (war-time special-case), John Major and James Callaghan (non-university educated plebeians) and Gordon Brown (Edinburgh). For public consumption, Oxford and Cambridge are arch-rivals; in reality they are two sides of a coin.

Of the 54 UK Prime Ministers to date, 41 studied at Oxbridge, 10 did not attend a British university, and only 3, Earl Russell, Neville Chamberlain, and Gordon Brown, went to non-Oxbridge universities (Edinburgh, Birmingham and Edinburgh respectively).

In other words, the 'Oxbridge' duo of Oxford and Cambridge universities, exerts near total dominance on the education and grooming of the people earmarked to front UK Deep State interests and ensure that its hidden permanent government sails on its merry way undisturbed by quaint notions of 'democratic accountability' and the like. Hence the deep penetration of both institutions by the UK SIS's whose real role in the machinations of the State are far and away removed from those of popular imaginings.

'OxBridge Domination

The list is dominated by 'OxBridge' which accounts for over 75% of the total.

  • OxBridge - 42
    • Oxford - 28
    • Cambridge - 14
  • Others - 4
    • Edinburgh - 2
    • Birmingham - 1
    • Leiden (Netherlands) - 1
  • No university attendance - 9

The following counts are taken from the office start year. The figures do not tally exactly with the table grand-totals because some office-holders (notably Tony Blair) served more than one term which began in different centuries:
