The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) is an American government agency within the United States Department of Defense.
Activities
In 2008, DTRA awarded Black & Veatch a five-year Biological Threat Reduction Integrating Contract (BTRIC) for work in Ukraine alongside the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine (NAAS) and the State Committee of Veterinary Medicine.[1]
DOMANE
Discovery of Medical Countermeasures Against Novel Entities (DOMANE) is a DTRA program intended to rapidly identify drugs and compounds for repurposing against emerging pathogens.[2]
