Talk:2021 Washington D.C. Riots
Structural deep events, as defined by Peter Dale Scott, are deep events "large enough to affect the whole fabric of society".
What is the legacy, truly of this event? Concrete things? 1. Republicans limiting protest with anti-protest bills. 2. Trump being banned from social media. You could argue a few things such as removing any mentioning of suspected fraud. But Tucker Carlson still has his job claiming this every week. And the CCM is still stimulating Trump to come back with already 50 of his former populace backers to support him. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2024_United_States_presidential_election#Republican_Party Therefore I've removed the "structural" from the hcard. Found a document from the DOD
I found this document for the DOD on how they reviewed the protest and aftermath. Don't know if this is useful. I will put the link here: https://s3.documentcloud.org/documents/21113253/dod-ig-jan-6.pdf
