PepsiCo, Inc. is an American multinational food, snack and beverage ('junk food') corporation. It also has ties to the biomedical industry.


During the Cold War, the corporation sometimes provided business cover to CIA agents abroad.[citation needed]

The October 1970 plot against Chile's President-elect Salvador Allende ... was the direct result of a plea for action The CEO of PepsiCo, Donald Kendall to the company's former lawyer, President Richard Nixon.[1]


The board members have ties to Google, the Ford Foundation. Sharon Rockefeller[2] was a prevous board member.
