The Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment (PGII) is a collaborative effort by the Group of Seven countries to fund infrastructure projects in developing nations based on the trust principles of the Blue Dot Network.[1] The PGII is intended to be the G7's counter to China's Belt and Road Initiative and a key component of the "Biden Doctrine".[2]
The PGII re-brands the Build Back Better World (B3W) initiative, after difficulties were encountered in implementing the Biden administration's similarly named domestic legislative agenda.[3]
As of at least early 2024, few details of the PGII have been announced.
