Omniwar, says David Hughes, who founded the term, is war by any and all means. He advanced the term in 2024.
Origins
In 2024, Hughes published a (freely available) book [[]]. This traces class war back to 1871 when the Prussians assisted their recent foes, the Frech ruling class in putting down the Paris Commune. He traces the arc of this struggle up to 2020, when the COVID event was publicly launched.
Covert nature
Omniwar is different from traditional war in that it is not centred on armies or conventional military forces. Instead, trickery and psychological operations are centre stage.
