Maxar Technologies Inc. is a space technology company specializing in manufacturing communication, Earth observation, radar, and on-orbit servicing satellites.[1]
US intelligence connection
Radiant Solutions, a subsidiary of Maxar, provides data modeling - of the company’s $300 million in annual revenue, 90 percent comes from U.S. government contracts with DoD, the intelligence community and U.S. Special Operations Command.[2]
In-Q-Tel cooperated with Maxar Technologies (then DigitalGlobe) to create SpaceNet, "a collaborative initiative designed to encourage the development of open-source, machine learning (ML) techniques for geospatial applications".[3]
