North Macedonia is a country which borders Kosovo to the northwest, Serbia to the north, Bulgaria to the east, Greece to the south, and Albania to the west.

History

Formerly part of Yugoslavia.

In August 2013, the spook Charles Garrett was appointed Britain’s ambassador to Macedonia. His express brief was to help the country "achieve its goals of joining NATO and the EU."[1]

A Western-orchestrated coup was put into motion, called a "colorful revolution" by participating citizens and NGOs, and English language media, using doctored recordings of conversations to force Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski to resign in 2016.[2]

Joined NATO on 27 March 2020, after a rigged referendum on name change from "Macedonia" to "North Macedonia" in 2018. Despite voters refusing to accept a name change, the prime minister "vowed to press ahead".[3]

In 2018 Foreign Minister Nikola Dimitrov admitted to being a CIA-asset.[4]

New COVID restrictions from 1 September 2021.[5]
