Lillian Scott Troy became a target of surveillance by the newly-formed British MI5 for her investigations of Andrew Carnegie, J.P. Morgan and the Pilgrims Society, support of the suffrage movement (ca. 1912) in Britain and the USA, Irish separation from the United Kingdom (republicanism), and her business associations with Baron von Horst.[3]
