James Files gave an interview stating that he was the "grassy knoll shooter" in the assassination of JFK. He was paroled in 2016.
Investigated by Joe West and interviewed by Robert Kiviat, Wim Dankbaar, and Jim Marrs on video (in prison for another crime) ex-military James Files (born James Earl Sutton) confessed in detail to being the grassy knoll shooter using a single mercury round in a Remington Fireball XP-100 handgun (following direct orders from Charles Nicoletti in association with Johnny Roselli under Sam Giancana, and former CIA chief of Latin American Operations, David Atlee Phillips, controller of Lee Harvey Oswald and James Sutton).[1]
