In 1987 Customs and Excise raided Allivane International, Astra Explosives and Matrix Churchill, impounding literally thousands of documents as ‘evidence’, most of which were never to be seen again.[1]
HM Customs & Excise employed drug kingpin Hüseyin Baybaşin as an informer.[2]
