The lobby is influential but is not all powerful. Hillary Clinton lost the US/2016 Presidential election despite the group raising $60 million dollars for her.

Emily’s List UK was launched on 6th February 1993 – 75 years after women first gained the vote for elections to the House of Commons.[1] They campaigned to get Labour women into Parliament.
