Deep politics is a serious subject. Given its pathologies of deception, secrecy and pervasive fear & surveillance of its enabling populations, the opportunities for humour in its study are somewhat rare. That said, ridicule and satire are among the most powerful tools to expose and resist its insidious effects.

This category includes documents clearly intended as serious but which, by virtue of the outrage, self-importance, stupidity or whatever, on display by their authors, are funny and/or ridiculous.
