Founder/Owner: Crown Prosecution Service

The website is where the UK Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) publishes information it allows be public, including about criminal cases that have been investigated by the police and other investigative organizations in England and Wales.

The CPS states that it "is independent, and we make our decisions independently of the police and government,"[1] a claim disputed by much information on Wikispooks.
