Career
David Carey worked for the CIA in various senior capacities, including Executive Director of the Office of Near Eastern and South Asian Analysis.
Later he became Executive Director.
Later activities
Carey has worked as Vice President, Information Assurance at Oracle Corporation, Executive Director of Blackbird Technologies, and as an independent business development and strategic planning consultant to multiple firms in the defense and intelligence technology sectors. As of 2015, he was working for Command Consulting Group, an "international security and intelligence consulting firm" staffed by Washington insiders.
