Robert Emmett Johnson, also known as 'Robert Jones' and 'Robert Roman', was an assassin who was rumoured to have worked for various spook agencies.
Career
Gerry P. Hemming stated that Johnson was involved in the assassination of Martin Luther King.[1]
1970s
"During the 1970s it is believed[By whom?] that Johnson's was employed by the British intelligence services[Which?] to hunt down and kill members of the Irish Republican Army (IRA). It has also been claimed that Johnson was involved in the assassination of Archbishop Oscar Romero on 24th March, 1980. The assassination had been ordered by Roberto D'Aubuisson, the founder of the Nationalist Republican Alliance (ARENA)."[1]
