NHSX is a UK government organization that was established in 2019 to drive digital transformation and lead IT policy across the National Health Service (NHS). In 2020, it developed a controversial contact tracking app allegedly to monitor the spread of COVID-19 in the UK. Director Gould admitted that the data will not be deleted, UK citizens will not have the right to demand it is deleted, and it can or will be used for “research” in future.

Its director, Matthew Gould, formerly UK Ambassador to Israel, has cozy ties to the Israeli intelligence services.
