Sam Wheeler is a member of the Labour Party and was formerly a Momentum Steering Committee member. He is the author of the ‘Northern Futures’ document for Jeremy Corbyn’s leadership campaign and is a representative on Unite the Union’s Regional Young Workers Committee.[1]
Sam Wheeler is the leading contender to succeed the late Sir Gerald Kaufman MP and to stand as the Labour party candidate in the 2017 Manchester Gorton by-election.[2]
