Eli Broad is a US billionaire.
Activities
Together with his wife Edythe Broad he attended the 2009 Good Club meeting.
The Broad foundation is highly interested in gene editing with CRISPR.[1] In 2017 they were involved in a bitter lawsuit concerning patents against the University of California regarding certain CRISPR technologies.
As of September 2020, the Broad was processing one out of every 20 COVID-19 "tests" in the nation.[2]
In 2015, the Los Angeles Times obtained a secret 44-page proposal drafted by the Eli and Edythe Broad Foundation and other charter advocates that was designed to charterize 50% of Los Angeles public schools.[3]
