Wikispooks notes
- The group leadership has clearly become progressively more embarrassed by its historic attempts to keep information about its meeting, their agendas, locations and participants secret and, since 2010, has provided skeleton information on its own web site. The web site was first registered in Switzerland on 25 November 2009.
- Russia the largest country in both the world and Europe, is conspicuous only by its absence.
- The participant list is also a useful indicator of the pecking order of the Anglo-American power elites, with the USA dominating, followed by the UK and so on down the order, with new(ish) supplicant-countries like Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic and others, also conspicuous by their absence.
Location
In spite of a new-found openness about attendees, the Bilderberg leadership is still clearly nervous about providing accurate information on meeting venues. the 2014 meeting, we are told, takes place at the Marriot Hotel, Copenhagen, Denmark but, if the 2013 meeting in the UK is any guide, the announcement is probably a tactic to divert - or at least minimise - the impact of likely demonstrations - See Bilderberg 2014: Watch Out for the Red Herring in Copenhagen for more information.
