The 2016 Istanbul airport attack consisted of shootings and suicide bombings at Atatürk Airport in Istanbul, Turkey. At least 3 terrorists killed 48 people and injured over 230.

Analysis

Interestingly, one day prior to this attack, the US State Department issued a travel warning for Turkey, citing imminent ‘terrorist’ activity.[1]
