The state television and radio broadcasting service of Belarus.

Belteleradio is the state broadcaster of Belarus.

In 2021, it was suspended from the European Broadcasting Union. The indignation of the union was caused, among other things, by the broadcast on Belarus 1 of the “repentance” of prisoners Roman Protasevich and Sofia Sapieha, which had been arrested by Belarusian authorities after his flight was diverted to Minsk on 23 May 2021, because of a false bomb threat conveyed to Belarusian air traffic control.

Employees and top managers of Belteleradio have repeatedly become subjects of EU and US sanctions[1].
