Lawyers for the UK Conservative Party wrote to Ben Harris-Quinney – who runs an organisation called Conservative Grassroots Ltd and has been a vociferous critic of the Conservatives – to demand a formal undertaking that he desist from “passing off” himself and the official party.[2]

The Spectator reported in May 2015 that he had ceased to be Chairman of The Bow Group[3] but by other accounts he appears to still be chairman. The Commentator reported on 4 May 2015 that he "has officially been disowned by four leading patrons of the organisation this evening,"[4]
