Lekem (or LAKAM) was a scientific intelligence-gathering agency of Israel's Defence Ministry formally known as the Bureau for Scientific Relations.

Lekem was established to assist Israel in obtaining technology for the construction of the nuclear reactor in Dimona. Lekem's mission was to steal, or otherwise obtain, military and other technology throughout the world on behalf of Israel's defence industries.[1]
