Career

John Kyme Cordeaux joined MI6 and rose to become a Deputy Chief.[1]

Politics

Cordeaux was elected at the 1955 general election as Conservative Member of Parliament for Nottingham Central, narrowly defeating the Labour MP Ian Winterbottom. He held the seat in 1959, but lost it on 25 September 1964 to the Labour candidate Jack Dunnett.
