I've just tweeked [[Template:DocProv]] to include the extra parameters. The thinking was, "let's just make ''book'' one more DocType, then we can remove [[template:Book]]". However, this is potentially confusing, since DocProv is for documents, rather than pages about documents, while - for example - [[Cypherpunks:_Freedom_and_the_Future_of_the_Internet]] is not a book, but a page about a book. FWIW, it was the {{t|<nowiki>[[Constitutes::Book]]</nowiki>}} which clarified this fine point for me. While the idea is good, I think it's not perfectly executed as yet. Possibly just another DocType would sort it, e.g. somethign to the effect of "page-about-a-book". Hmmm, I suppose "book review" is more or less what we have here. Thoughts? Is This Needed?

I've just tweeked Template:Document to include the extra parameters. The thinking was, "let's just make book one more DocType, then we can remove template:Book". However, this is potentially confusing, since DocProv is for documents, rather than pages about documents, while - for example - Cypherpunks:_Freedom_and_the_Future_of_the_Internet is not a book, but a page about a book. FWIW, it was the [[Constitutes::Book]] which clarified this fine point for me. While the idea is good, I think it's not perfectly executed as yet. Possibly just another DocType would sort it, e.g. somethign to the effect of "page-about-a-book". Hmmm, I suppose "book review" is more or less what we have here. Thoughts?
