Phoebe Pool was a spook.
Activities
Peter Wright, the author of Spycatcher claims that Arnold Deutsch established a spy network in Oxford University which included Jenifer Hart, Bernard Floud, Goronwy Rees and Phoebe Pool.
Death
Phoebe Pool reportedly threw herself under a train.[1] In 2005 The Telegraph portrayed this as a suicide, noting that Bernard Floud also died that year.[2]
