Manages the Defense Information Systems Network

Official narrative

"Information superiority in defense of our Nation [i.e. the USA]."

Problems

Can an insistence on 'superiority' equate to defence? Presumably in the same way the "war department" became the "defense department" and "aggressive" became a laudatory adjective.[1]

The Wikipedia article[2] has been described as not "a bit pro-DISA", it's a freakin' press release!="[3].
