The deputy prime minister of Iraq |
Carpetbagger Ahmad Chalabi managed to become Deputy Prime Minister during the American occupation of Iraq, at a time when Iraq had 4 deputy prime ministers and three vice presidents.[1]
The positions of deputy prime ministers and vice-presidents were abolished with immediate effect in 2015 by the Prime Minister. The decision was made "in the fight against corruption and costs reduction"[2]
