National Socialist Germany, referred to by The Establishment as "Nazi Germany", was a country under the governance of Adolf Hitler and the National Socialist German Workers' Party (German: Nationalistesozialiste Deutsch Arbeiterpartei or NSDAP), referred to by The Establishment as the "Nazi Party". National Socialist Germany came about in 1933, the year Hitler was elected Chancellor. National Socialist Germany arose out of the ineffectual state that was the Weimar Republic, that plunged Germany into poverty as a result of the Treaty of Versailles after World War I. Hitler sought to use his power to restore the German state and usher in an era of peace and prosperity for his fellow Germans. He promised to reverse all of the damages incurred by the Weimar Republic and Treaty of Versailles in less than four years, and by all accounts, he did. He eliminated poverty and unemployment in two years, got rid of foreign exports, and accomplished feats such as the design of the Volkswagen and the creation of the Autobahn. They also enacted several campaigns for the welfare and protection of animals and the environment and the removal of tobacco and alcohol. The German people thrived under Hitler and became arguably the most powerful economic state in the world at the time. As Fate would have it, the Establishment would not allow this due to the mistreatment of Jews, who have been expelled from over one hundred countries over the course of three thousand years and declared war on NS Germany in 1933. Because of these punitive elements, The Establishment resolved to annihilate NS Germany, as detailed in the Morgenthau Plan. This plan would succeed, and NS Germany would be seen as the epitome of evil, as well as Hitler and his followers.
