David Hart was a "hugely wealthy banking heir"[1] who took an active role in breaking the UK Miners' strike and was an advisor to Margaret Thatcher when she was UK Prime Minister. He "described himself as a “Renaissance man” and assumed the air of a slightly dissipated 18th-century dilettante."[2]

Connections

Hart was the father of five children by four women; the four mothers were Christina Williams, Karen Weis, Hazel O'Leary, and Kate Agazarian. One son, Harry Hart is an ex-director of the Institute for Statecraft, resigning after the Integrity Initiative Leak.
