Nonie Darwish is a "leader of Arabs for Israel [1] and the daughter of a slain fighter from Gaza". She appears as a narrator in the anti-Muslim propaganda film Obsession.[2]
Background
Darwish was born in Cairo in 1948, and in the early 1950s moved with her family to the Egyptian-occupied Gaza Strip, where her father, Lt.-Gen. Mustafa Hafez, was appointed by president Gamal Abdel Nasser to command Egyptian army intelligence. She graduated from the American University,
Career
Nonie Darwish has worked as a journalist. In 1978 she moved to the US, where she became a Christian and founded Arabs for Israel. [3]
