The 2016 Istanbul airport attack consisted of shootings and suicide bombings at Atatürk Airport in Istanbul, Turkey. At least 3 people reported killed 48 others and injured over 230.
Analysis
One day prior to this attack the US State Department issued a travel warning for Turkey, citing imminent "terrorist" activity.[1]
