In a CBS documentary broadcast in April 1986, a former contra pilot identified Hull's ranch as a "major transshipment plant for military supplies and drugs".
Legal action
The Christic Institute brought a lawsuit against Hull. In June 1988, James L. King dismissed it.[1]
The Costa Rican authorities arrested him on charges of drug trafficking and using the country for "hostile acts" against Nicaragua. Hoever, friends posted a $37,000 bail and Hull fled the country before the start of the trial.
