Victors' history | |
---|---|
Indicates the essentially biased nature of the dominant consensus histories of wars or defining social struggles. |
A particularly egregious confirmation and example of victor's history bias is Winston Churchill's observation "History will be kind to me for I intend to write it" [1], in light of his self-serving 6 volume history of WWII. [2] and the dominant western narrative of WWII as "The Good War" when it was clearly even more irredeemably evil than any which went before it.
