Although Brad Beltane attended Antioch College, an institution with a strong tradition of progressive politics, he did not become active until the lead up to the second Iraq war. Thereafter he joined the 9/11 truth movement. In 2006(?) he ran for the board of KPFA a member of the Pacifica radio network on a platform of providing increased and more accurate coverage of the origins of the war on terror.
After the election of Obama in 2008, Brad, took a break from politics. Upon his return, he found himself in an America that was bombing seven different countries and that selectively abandoned the principle of habeus corpus. In addition to online commentary, Brad is currently working on a role playing game that introduces concepts such as inverted totalitarianism and anarcho-syndicalism to people that would otherwise be unlikely to come across such ideas in the current media landscape.
