Strand Electoral Management Services (SEMS), formerly a subsidiary of the Australian corporation Computershare and now owned by the Idox Group, develops and delivers Windows-based electoral management software systems for local authorities in the United Kingdom. In 2010, SEMS covered a 13 million voter population in 116 constituencies.[1]

Products

Its products include STRAND Electoral Registration System, an electoral registration software solution; STRAND Election Management System, an election management software solution; and SERVO Results Presentation System, a solution for managing and displaying election results.

Acquired by Idox

SEMS was incorporated in 1988, is based in Woodford Green, the United Kingdom and used to be known as Computershare Electoral Management Services until it changed its name to Strand Electoral Management Services Limited in July 2010. As of 29 July 2010, Strand Electoral Management Services Limited operates as Idox Elections.[2]
