Arrest
The BBC reported that he "was discovered by chance when an IT consultant came to repair another clerk's computer at the Commons and opened a file showing "something terribly wrong".[3][4]
Another report stated that he was arrested in April after a tip-off to the Metropolitan Police vice squad from National Crime Squad police.[2]
In August 2003, he was found guilty and sentenced to 12 months.[3]
