Daughter of ex-FBI Director James Comey, a US attorney who as an NY prosecutor had a key role in some cases of interest to the US Deep state, including the trial of Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell and P. Diddy.

Maurene Comey is a US lawyer, daughter of James Comey. As an assistant United States attorney in the Southern District of New York she was a prosecutor in the cases of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. She was fired in July 2025.[1]

Background

James Comey, Maurene's father, was fired as FBI director by President Trump in 2017. James Comey has blasted Trump as 'unethical' and 'untethered to the truth'.[2]

Maurene Comey is a daughter of former FBI Director, James Comey, who was also formerly the United States attorney in the Southern District of New York from January 2002 until December 2003.[2]

Maurene Comey was one of the federal prosecutors on the Jeffrey Epstein case.[2][3] A discussion on SaidIt alleged (without citation) that "Daughter of ex FBI director James Comey is prosecutor on the case of pedophile Jeffrey Epstein - She's the one who lost the Footage outside his cell, due to a "mix-up""[4]

Comey was a lead prosecutor in the trial of Ghislaine Maxwell.[5]

P. Diddy case

Comey was a prosecutor in the trial of P. Diddy.[6]

Spouse

Maurene Comey is married to Lucas Issacharoff (in profile photo), a Harvard Law School graduate who specializes in commercial litigation at the law firm of Susman Godfrey.[2]

Firing

The USDOJ fired Comey on 17 July 2025.[1]
