Glenn Patterson is a writer from Belfast, Northern Ireland, best known as a novelist. He also makes documentaries for the BBC, and has published his collected journalistic writings as "Lapsed Protestant" (2006).[1] He has written plays for Radio 3 and Radio 4, and co-wrote with Colin Carberry the screenplay of the 2013 film "Good Vibrations", about the music scene in Belfast during the late 1970s.[2]
In October 2024, Glenn Paterson wrote and presented "The Brighton Bomb", a five-part documentary for BBC Radio 4, recounting how an IRA bomb in Brighton's Grand Hotel in 1984 nearly killed Margaret Thatcher and her Cabinet.[3]
