Death
Officially, Patton died after a car crash in December 1945.
Historian Robert Wilcox claims that he was assassinated by Douglas Bazata under orders from the head of the OSS, General Bill Donovan.[1]
"As Patton was recovering, he held a press conference and declared he was going home. Then, he was injected or poisoned in the hospital and died suddenly on Dec. 21, 1945."[2]
