Candace Amber Owens Farmer (née Owens) is an American political commentator and social media influencer. Her political positions have mostly been described as far-right or conservative.
On 6 October 2025, Candace Owens shared a screenshot of a group chat where Charlie Kirk explicitly said he was "leaving the pro-Israel cause" just 48 hours before he was assassinated.[1] Although the FBI has arrested Tyler Robinson as the prime suspect, Owens insists the US government is covering up key evidence, including details about the missing bullet and autopsy reports.[2]
Background
Owens gained recognition for her conservative activism—despite being initially critical of President Donald Trump and the Republican Party—as well as her criticism of Black Lives Matter. She was the communications director for the conservative advocacy group Turning Point USA from 2017 to 2019.
In 2018, Owens co-founded BLEXIT Foundation along with former Tucson police officer Brandon Tatum. After working for PragerU, in 2021 Owens joined The Daily Wire and began hosting "Candace", a political talk show. She was dismissed in March 2024 following a series of comments regarded as antisemitic, and months of tensions with co-host Ben Shapiro and other Daily Wire staff.

In July 2025, Tadhg Hickey made a YouTube video which praised the performance of American influencer Candace Owens when she was challenged by Piers Morgan over her views that Israel has dragged the US into a series of wars. Owens repeatedly asked Morgan what was in it for America, each time he side-stepped the question.[4]
