Some have called Wikipedia a 'cult'[1], especially the self-justifying inner circle, which is perhaps unsurprising, since they have dictatorial powers over Wikipedia. Their decision that commercially controlled media is a 'reputable source' effectively hands back Wikipedia's independence to those who control big media.
