I was interested to read that Wilander had booked a seat on this flight and decided not to use it. But even if there is only a small chance that, for example, he was tipped off or deliberately obstructed from getting on the flight, it's worth having here. Someone else with different information might apply Occam's razor and draw a different conclusion, of course. Quite probably peripheral, but...

I was interested to read that Wilander had booked a seat on this flight and decided not to use it. My Occam's razor says "pure coincidence", but then I'm no expert on either Lockerbie or the habits of world class sportsmen. But even if there is only a small chance that, for example, he was tipped off or deliberately obstructed from getting on the flight, it's worth having here. Someone else with different information might apply Occam's razor and draw a different conclusion, of course. Vote: Keep -- Robin (talk) 15:16, 1 April 2024 (UTC)

Chris Nicholson doesn't regard Mats Wilander as peripheral to Pan Am Flight 103. Nor do I. Vote: Keep --Patrick Haseldine (talk) 22:43, 1 April 2024 (UTC)
