Ross James Kemp (born 21 July 1964) is an English actor , presenter, author and investigative journalist. He rose to prominence in the role of Grant Mitchell in the BBC soap opera EastEnders. Since 2004, Kemp has received international recognition as a journalist for the British Academy Television Awards (BAFTA)-winning documentary series Ross Kemp on Gangs.[1]

In January 2020, Ross Kemp broadcast a two-part documentary "Welcome to HMP Belmarsh" and spent a night in the prison.[2]
