Event vs. group?

Maybe just a technical detail. Has sponsor is an important property because it refers to financial ties. Under Population_Council#Events_Sponsored currently mostly foundations are listed (SMWObject "group"). Should this be limited to SMWObject "event"? I am not literate in SMW programing so this question might be a bit off. Urban (talk) 13:17, 9 June 2020 (UTC)
