Career
Brian Franks joined the SAS.
World War II
Franks was an SAS leader during Operation Archway and Operation Loyton and widely involved elsewhere.
Post WWII
In late March or April 1963, Franks met with the UK Foreign Secretary Alec Douglas-Home, Aviation Minister Julian Amery, Neil McLean in the gentleman's club White's and arranged an unofficial UK covert operation against the Egyptian-backed government of the Yemen.[1]
