Criminal Trial

At the criminal trial of Robert Sensi in 1988, in exchange for Sensi agreeing not to reveal information about the identities or code names of CIA agents with whom Sensi dealt, and agreeing not to reveal the places and times when he met with CIA agents, the CIA stipulated that Sensi had been affiliated with the CIA. The CIA's admission about Sensi was widely reported in contemporaneous press reports of Sensi's trial. But the final version of the stipulation, which was signed in behalf of the CIA by a representative of the U.S. government, seems to have since disappeared from the court's records. Sensi's draft stipulation, signed by his attorneys Stephen Saltzburg and Richard Hirschfeld, is shown below.[1]
