Bill Bergman is a US economist.

Career

Bergman is the director of research for Truth in Accounting, a Chicago-based nonprofit dedicated to informing citizens about government financial reporting. He also teaches finance and economics and finance courses at Loyola University Chicago. He has over twenty years of financial market experience, including thirteen years as an economist and financial market policy analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. His research interests have included wholesale payment system risk and pricing, the role of credit ratings in financial markets, the implications that national emergency and war powers can have for the executive branch in a time of crisis, and financial reporting by local, state, and federal government entities. He is married, with three kids.[1]
