Faisal Shahzad is a naturalised US citizen of Pakistani origin, alleged to be the perpetrator of the failed car bombing attempt in Times Square, NYC on 1st May 2010. On 21 June 2010, he pleaded guilty to all 10 counts of an indictment against him, for allegedly driving a car bomb into Times Square on the evening of May 1, 2010. [1]
